Sports Fans Meet Variable Data

image

Those involved in the printing industry have been using variable data technology for years. Variable data lets you create print pieces with elements that switch out depending on who the recipient is. A bad example of this would be getting a letter with your name overprinted, probably in a specialty font to make it look handwritten. At the opposite end of the spectrum is specialty software which allows you to do some truly remarkable things to personalize designs. 1310 Studios recently helped one of our clients launch a new website that takes advantage of this personalization to create unique sports photographs. Imagine your name on the back of your favorite player’s sports jersey or seeing your name on the leaderboard at a major golf tournament. This just scratches the surface. The site includes various variable images we created including one where your name is spelled out by the marching band on a football field. Sound interesting? Check out the FLOPSHOTS website to see a unique circumstance of variable data in action. If you’re interested in getting your customers attention using this same technology give 1310 Studios a call.
